Life can often feel overwhelming—filled with uncertainty, pressure, and unmet expectations. In moments like these, Psalm 23 reminds us of a powerful truth: God is our Shepherd. A shepherd does not abandon his sheep; he guides, protects, and provides for them.
When David declared, “I shall not want,” he wasn’t saying he would have everything he desired, but that God would supply everything he truly needed. God knows your needs even before you ask. He leads you to places of peace (“green pastures”) and refreshment (“still waters”), even when life feels chaotic.
Sometimes, we try to lead ourselves—making decisions without seeking God’s direction. This often leads to stress and confusion. But when we surrender and allow God to guide us, He restores our soul and leads us on the right path.
No matter what you’re going through today, trust that God is actively working in your life. He sees you, He cares for you, and He is leading you—even when you don’t realize it.
